Trolling:
The Harness design is great for clear and deep-water fishing. When used for trolling the heavy weight on the front of the harness will get the lure down to where the fish are.
Caution: When using an Erie Dearie product in trolling applications, please use a snap swivel to connect our lure to your line.
Casting:
The Harness works for those casting for the hard to reach fish in clear water, but some care must be used when casting because of the possibility of tangling.
Drifting:
The Harness is excellent for the wind-drifting fisherman who knows where the big walleyes are. Let the lure sink to the bottom, and crank lure back 2 to 3 turns from the bottom. The weight forward harness gets the lure to the fish, with the wind and boat action doing the rest.
Hint:
Walleyes cannot look down below them; they see things at eye level and above. Remember to keep your lure at their level or just above them.
